Patient Instructions before abortion
To prepare you for your abortion at Columbus Women’s Health Organization follow the patient guidelines below.
Complete the PATIENT FORMS and bring them with you to your scheduled appointment.
What you need to know
- Minors under the age of 18 must have parental consent to have an abortion. Call our office to get more info, and possibly getting this requirement waived by the courts.
- Children are not allowed in the clinic.
- Fees will be collected prior to your procedure.
- If your are running late, please call (706) 323-3816.
- Try and eat a light meal right before coming in
- Ignore protestors outside and come directly into the clinic.
What to bring with you
- Bring a government issued ID
- Bring all prescription medications you are currently taking
- Please bring any necessary medical records
- Bring a book or other activity to help pass the time
- Dress warmly as it gets chilly inside the clinic
